•Were you nervous about your session?
Yes! I had ALL the worries! I just felt like I hadn’t prepared enough; that I would be awkward and that there was no way I could look like all the beautiful women I had seen on the page before. I had previously done a shoot via a Groupon when I was younger and it was a major disappointment; I knew Marlayne wouldn’t let me leave unhappy but I felt all the pressure!
•What did you like best about your boudoir experience?
I loved being able to see the photos real time as well as pick them. Seeing that Marlayne really didn’t do much retouching on my photos at all was, for me, mind altering.
•What inspired you to book a boudoir session?
Marlayne, and the bravery of a few of our mutual friends who trusted her talent and heart enough to do their own and rock it! Deep inside I knew I needed to see myself as others see me and that this was the answer! I honestly had zero intention of ever showing these to anyone, including my husband, this was about facing myself in the mirror, stripping away the dysmorphia I had in my own mind.
•What made you choose a Marlayne Larsen Boudoir Artistry?
I’m lucky enough to be neighbors with Marlayne and over the last few years have learned she means what she says, that deep down her goal really is to be an advocate for women, & build them up. I wanted to support that. Marlayne & Stephine’s portfolios show exactly that and I wanted to be a part of the change they are creating!
•Did the experience help give you a more positive perception of yourself?
Surprisingly, it really did, I truly felt like I shined through and I would love to do it again to explore more of who I am!
•Would you recommend this experience to a friend?
Absolutely (and I have been!).
Sultry babe!
